This recipe is one I make almost every week. I mix it up every now and again, but I always come back to this simple classic. Chocolate is always a favorite, isn’t it? What I find so great about blissballs is, that they are so easy to make, always fit in a bag and if I’m hungry in between meals it’s a really great snack. So without further due, here comes the recipe for my favorite chocolate blissballs! … More Chocolate Blissballs v, gf, sf, df
A long time ago my sister introduced me to Peanutbuttercups. She brought some home from the States if I remember right and I was immediately hooked. I mean.. they’re just the perfect combination of sweet and salty, bitesized and just all around addicting. In the first few years after she introduced me to them there was no store in Switzerland that sold them but then finally it got more popular and they started showing up everywhere. I may have had a Peanutbuttercup overdose… and I definitely needed a pause after that, but then a few weeks ago I remembered them and I thought, why not make them myself? Takes so few ingredients and time and is just delicious! … More Homemade Peanutbuttercups (v, gf, df)
As it was my birthday yesterday, I wanted to make a special cake this week. When I was a kid, my mum asked me every year what cake I wanted for my birthday and every year I wished for her chocolate cake. When I got older, I started baking my own cakes and experimented with all different kind of flavors. But this year I had big cravings for a chocolate cake. I didn’t take my mums recipe (which is absolutely great and I love it) because I wanted something chocolatier. So I came up with my own recipe and it turned out to be my favorite cake I’ve ever made! It is so rich in flavor, perfectly moist and I wish I could eat it all day. I know this sound exaggerating but it is *so* good!
I really hope you give it a try and love it as much as I do. … More Vegan Double Chocolate Cake
For some odd reason I don’t like to drink coffee, but I love all desserts involving coffee, such as tiramisú, mousse or cakes. And for some unclear other reasons I had set to my mind that I had to make a coffee cake this week. Maybe I needed the energy for my final submissions for uni? It’s all over now (finally!) and I had the time to sit down and prepare this blogpost. Hope you enjoy it! … More Vegan Coffee Cake
As soon as the leaves start falling there are little roasted chestnut stalls popping up all over the place. There is one on my way to the train station after working at the market on Saturdays and I’m always so tempted to buy some – sadly they’re quite expensive. But yesterday when I walked past the old man selling deliciously smelling roasted chestnuts again, I just couldn’t restrain myself from buying a bag. So of course I had to incorporate them into my Sunday recipe – and here it is: a hearty and perfectly moist chestnut-caramel-chocolate cake! … More Vegan Chestnut-Caramel-Chocolate Cake
