Best Blackberry Lemon Cake

It’s been a long time since the last time I really baked, but now I’m back in the game for real! I just fancied creating something sweet and at the moment the blackberries in our garden are very ripe (and seasonal tastes better always!). As it’s super hot, I combined the blackberries with lemon to give the cake a refreshing flavour. So if you fancy a little baking-meditation I can only recommend you trying this delicious cake! … More Best Blackberry Lemon Cake

Mediterranean Millet Salad

Long time no see my friends! I’ve been abroad for the past semester and with all the new and exiting experiences there I didn’t find much time to create new recipes. Rainbow Swiss Chard Galette

Every year we have this beautifully rainbow colored swiss chard at the market. It has all these stunning red, pink, orange, yellow and white shades. I love to cook with it as it’s just a joy to have these many colors on the plate. Mostly I just stew it, put a little cream and spices on it and eat it with rice or pasta. But to honor all it’s beauty I wanted to create a recipe that’s more extraordinary. And so I created a savory galette to show of the whole rainbow! … More Rainbow Swiss Chard Galette

Colorful Kale Salad

Winter time means kale time. It must’ve been 4 or 5 years ago that I first had kale salad. It was a delight. Ever since it’s one of my favorite winter salads (next to my other two favorites – chicory salad and the good old lambs lettuce) and I’m always looking forward to it. I love to put a sweet component and a touch of color into my salads – so here you have it: kale and raddicchio rosso with cranberries and nuts. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do! … More Colorful Kale Salad
